How does it work?
The basic pattern provides a range of sizes from 34 to 64, including cup sizes A to I. This allows you to create a pattern that suits you perfectly and with which you can continue working with the model pattern of your choice. Basic pattern and model pattern together form one perfectly fitting garment.
E.g. If you want a perfectly fitting T-shirt, combine the basic corsage pattern for jersey with a model pattern for a sweater or T-shirt, such as the Lynn model from The Fashion Basement.
Choose the correct size for the basic pattern according to the size chart. For the corsage, the chest size is the reference.
A basic pattern is the simplest version of a garment.
The basic corsage is an outer garment high in the neck, fitted over the chest, straight
down to the waist and with a long sleeve.
With this basic pattern you can vary endlessly and make all the t-shirts and sweaters that a
have a snug fit around the chest. The pattern contains 2 different front pieces: 1
without breast cup and 1 with.
Neps are not used that often in knitwear, but certainly in heavier knitwear or for those who require a
has a fuller bust, this will greatly improve the fit!
With the breast cups you also have a choice of 4 different cup sizes: cup size A/B, C/D, E/F,
G/H/I. Because the bust is tailored to your cup size, the fit will be even better around the breast
chest.
With the pattern you also get access to numerous accompanying videos to learn how to work with
a basic pattern.
E.g. Measuring the pattern, making personal adjustments, stitching the test model, fitting errors
correction and some basic model drawings to make your first t-shirts/sweaters.
Please note: be sure to choose the correct size range based on the size chart below. Do you fall with the
chest size between 2 sizes, then choose the one that fits you closest. Are you exactly between 2?
