Beautiful quality dry wax canvas. This fabric is water resistant, which means that the water does not run off completely, but it also does not penetrate the fabric. This fabric has a matte appearance, feels soft and has the perfect thickness for bags, backpacks, messenger bags, but also parkas, for example.
Unlike oilskin or other waxes such as beeswax, this waxed canvas will not show lighter colored creases where it is folded. The wax treatment does make the canvas somewhat stiffer than regular, non-waxed fabric and contributes to its characteristic 'used look'.

| Reinforce |
You can iron on reinforcement, but at a low temperature and WITHOUT steam. Warm wax reacts with steam droplets and leaves unsightly stains that are not easy to get rid of. |

This canvas is very tightly woven and leaves perforation holes, so use a needle that is as fine as possible (microtex), of course adjusted to your layer thickness. |
