You sew that trendy sweater yourself!
A hip sweater with wide sleeves? Make it yourself!
In the original version or with one of our hacks: the open shoulder or the jacquard sleeve.
We will guide you in making a sweater with the Laure pattern by Bel'etoile, totally hip! You will get tips on working with stretchy fabrics, sewing the wide sleeve nicely and attaching cuffs correctly.
You choose the original model (with or without hip hem) OR one of our hacks:
- an open shoulder (see photos)
- the sleeve at the bottom with jacquard (or another soft fabric) in one piece (see photos)
Please note: these hacks are only possible when using sweater fabric, not when working with a woven, non-stretch fabric. We recommend stretch fabrics.
You can draw and cut at home, with an accompanying video.
