Luca is a unisex sweater or jacket with a zipper and with hanging sleeves and a collar. The hem and sleeves are finished with bias (stretchable or non-stretchable). The front next to the zipper and the collar are also finished with bias. Make the jacket that opens all the way down or sew a sweater where the zipper opens halfway. Luca lends itself perfectly to color blocking with the seam on the back, front and sleeve.
SIZES: Kids sizes 2y-14y & Adult sizes XS-4XL (unisex)
LEVEL: This is a pattern for beginners who want a little challenge (sewing on the bias and sewing on the zipper). It is a bit more work than our Casper sweater, but has a unique effect.
FABRIC: Fleece, wool blend, thick sweater fabric, teddy, ... All warm, cozy winter fabrics will do! Even the non-stretch ones. You will also need bias (both the different types of stretch and non-stretch bias will work) and a zipper (non-divisible for the sweater and divisible for the jacket).
