The Martindale test shows how durable a fabric is. The higher the score in numbers, the higher the wear resistance of the fabric. To determine the value, the fabric is tested under a certain pressure. 70000 Martindale indicates that the fabric is very durable. Furniture in the catering industry, for example, has a Martindale value between 70000 and 75000.
